Beverly worked in the nursing field for many years as she loved to help people. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and in her latter days became a member of The Greater College Hill Church Of God In Christ in Texarkana, Arkansas under the leadership of Superintendent Jackie R. Robinson. She loved her family with her whole heart and was an amazing sister and aunt to all of her nephews, or as she would say “my boys”.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father: Carol and Issac Polk, grandfather: Dossie Rose, one uncle, James Rose and two aunts: Channie Hollins and Carrie Newton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her grandmother, Verleen Walls, of Texarkana, Arkansas, 4 sisters: Shuntrell Rose and Kalay Rose of Texarkana, Arkansas, Joyce Scroggins of Nashville, Arkansas and Charlesetta Cherry of Idabel, Oklahoma. 4 brothers: Michael Rose of Texarkana, Texas, Orangie Rose of Texarkana, Texas, Daryl Colbert of Kansas City, and Paul Polk of Idabel, Oklahoma. Longtime friends: Kim, Rita, and Renee.
Uncles: Dossie Rose of Texarkana, Arkansas, Gary Rose (Brenda) of Texarkana, Robert Oliver (Betty) of Killeen, Texas, Jeffery Rose (Michelle) of Texarkana, Arkansas, Karlton Rose of Texarkana, Arkansas and James Wanicki (Thelma) of Texarkana, Arkansas. Aunts: Pamela Rose of Texarkana, Texas, Janet Watson of Dallas, Texas, Debra Hardy of Dequeen, Arkansas, Sharon Rose, Thelma Taylor, and Patricia Ross all of Texarkana, Arkansas, Helen Richardson Ross, Sandra Watson of Texarkana, Texas, and Jackie Rose of Ft Worth, Texas.
