Billy Ray Taylor was born on July 19. 1958 to the late Mozell and Burton (Buddy) Taylor in Texarkana, Texas. He passed January 6, 2025, he was 66.
He attended Liberty-Eylau Independent School District.  He joined the Church of the Living God Temple #4 at an early age.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, his maternal/paternal grandparents, several aunts, and uncles. He was also preceded in death by his devoted nurse Juan Delgado at Wadley Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.
Bill loved to spend time with family and friends, watching westerns, caring for dogs, watching sports, especially cheering on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, and living his best life traveling.
Billy was previously employed by Orr Chevrolet, where he worked as a Detailer, El Chico's and Texarkana Water Utilities.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories:  Siblings:  Marye’ Taylor, San Francisco, CA., Derenda Taylor Scott, Texarkana, TX., Melvin (Dee) Taylor, Texarkana, TX., Teresa (Donald) Hooper, Texarkana, TX., Wanda Taylor (Gerry) Buchanan, Tucson, AZ., Bryant Taylor, Texarkana, TX., Demetria Tatum, Texarkana TX., and Lesley Taylor, Texarkana, TX. Nieces:  Shiquita Houff, Reshanna (Marlon) Tolbert, Kimberly Johnson, and Keresha Woods.  Nephews: Antwane Woods, Jabori Robinson, Lt. Col Andrew (Chelsey) Buchanan, Derrick Hooper, and Malik Ware. Aunts: Ada Harris, Maxine Stewart, Johnnie Louise Porter, and Melba McDonald. His Best friend: Derrick (Ninnie Bug) Hughes. 

And a host of other relatives and friends.

"My Brother's Keeper"
My twin it's own to a better place for you and I want you to know just how much you will be missed. Our last week together stands out out on my memory list of you. You taught me a lot in life and I thank God for a brother like you. Your memory will forever live on through me my dear twin. Rest easy Big Brother and I love you too the bone.
