Bruce Edwin Walker was born on March 15, 1959, to the late Leslie Walker and the late Roxie B. Walker. He departed this life leaving behind a legacy of strength, service, talent, and love that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Bruce was a proud graduate of Foreman High School, Class of 1977. Following graduation, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, demonstrating discipline, integrity, and dedication to duty.
Bruce was known throughout the community and beyond for his love of music. As a DJ—affectionately known as “Baby Boy”—he brought energy, joy, and unforgettable moments to countless events and gatherings across the area and other locations. His presence behind the turntables created lasting memories for many.
In addition to music, Bruce was a champion bowler, respected for his skill, focus, and competitive spirit. He was truly a man of many abilities. There was very little he could not do—whether building, welding, repairing, or creating, Bruce had the knowledge and hands to accomplish almost anything he set out to do.
Above all, Bruce was a father and grandfather who loved his family deeply. His guidance, strength, and presence will continue to live on through them.
Bruce Edwin Walker lived a life marked by talent, versatility, and resilience. He served his country with honor, shared his gifts freely, and left an imprint through his work, music, and family. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Walker and Roxie B. Walker.
