Desiree Parchman was born on April 6, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois. She passed away at St. Michael Hospital with her youngest brother Bobbie Collier by her side.
Desiree fought a good fight against her colon cancer and now she is with the Lord.
She graduated from Liberty-Eylau High School class of 1974. She received her Associate's Degree at East Texas State University as a Registered Nurse and received her Case Manager Certificate.
Desiree touched the lives of many people during her time here on Earth. She loved her family, friends and was a very giving person.
Desi, as she was known, loved to travel and spend time with her niece and great nieces.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Paul Smith, Grandmother, Bertha Lee Parchman, Grandfather, Luther Parchman.
Her beautiful memories will forever be cherished by her Mother: Martha Ann Collier; Brothers: Raymond Collier, Bobbie Collier; Niece: Anissa Collier (David) Illerbrun; Great Nieces:  Addison Illerbrun, Evelyn Illerbrun and Lorelai Illerbrun; Significant Other: Rodney Randall; Special friends: Beatrice Collier, Dorsett Krissy Randall and Dorenda Taylor Scott.

I had the pleasure of working with Desiree and she was such sweet person. We enjoyed just talking about the little pleasures in life. She will be greatly missed.
