Felicia Shalon Butler was born to Barbara Lock and Vandy Butler on July 22, 1973. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of the Greater Shiloh Church of God in Christ in Nash, TX.
Felicia graduated from Texas High School in 1992 and went on to obtain her certification in Phlebotomy from Texarkana College. She dedicated her professional life to caring for others, working at Health South and Wadley Hospital.
She was an avid reader, a passionate fashionista, and a lover of music, with an impressive collection of albums. Felicia found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren and shopping. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Felicia was preceded in death by her father, Vandy E. Butler, stepfather Lawrence Lock, grandfather L.C. Chatman, grandmother Betty Hall and her uncles Steve Chatman and L.B. Chatman. 
She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, cherished by her loving mother Barbara Lock of Nash, TX; her daughter Isis Butler of Texarkana, TX, and her three sons, Tiyae Butler, DeEdric (Bubba) Petty, Jr., and Camron Petty, all of Nash, TX. She is also survived by her brothers Victor (Kaleshia) Butler of Texarkana, AR., and Conrad (Smith) Butler of Haslet, TX. Her grandchildren, Milani Jones and Lyric Butler of Texarkana, TX, Jamariyah Chatman, and Dallas Johnson of Dallas, TX, will carry her memory forward. Felicia also leaves behind a host of relatives and special friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Felicia's legacy is one of love, family, and faith, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

I will miss my niece very much. She was a bright light in all the lives that she touched. I will miss our phone and text messages I recieved from her. I will always remember our times together as a child to adulthood. Rest in peace 🙏🏾 Love you FeFe
