On April 10, 1949, in Texarkana Texas a beautiful baby girl was born to the parents of Alma Collier and John Adkins.  They both precede Louetta in death.
On March 14, 1980, Louetta Talton united with her Sunshine “Rev. Dr. Leon Talton Sr.” With over 40 years of marriage, God called His faithful servant (Leon) home on November 27, 2021. Their two sons James Adkins and Leon Talton Jr. both reside in Texarkana, Texas.
Their union continued to grow in bliss, beginning with their first grandchild Morgan Adkins, then came along Ernest and Chanen Adkins. Several years later they were blessed with Jamaron and Jackson Talton. The love didn’t stop there, in a league of her own, their great granddaughter Nova Adkins joined the beautiful legacy.
She impacted so many lives with her beautiful smile, great cooking, and subtle jokes to make you smile. Surviving her death, in addition to children and grandchildren are her Donetta Rochelle-Reece (Wake Village, Texas); and brother John Adkins (Dallas, Texas). Siblings preceding her in death is Verdean Jenkins (Dallas, Texas), Beatrice Scott (Texarkana, Texas), and Bernice Jones (Texarkana, Texas). In addition to her siblings, she has a sister-in-law Virginia Keener, and brother-in-law Ervin Talton surviving her in death.
Louetta retired from Wadley Regional Medical Center and served next to her husband; being the example of a virtuous Proverbs 31 woman, strong, capable, and God-fearing individual who excels in her roles as a wife, mother, and homemaker, while also contributing to her community.

Sending love and prayers to James, JR, and the entire family! Thinking of beautiful memories of your family and the blessed times we all enjoyed many years ago at St Paul! May God’s love, the love of family and friends, and those memories provide strength during this difficult time !
