Willie Mae Cook, 97, passed away November 17,2025 in Wilton, AR, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 4, 1928, in Center Point, AR to the Late Mamie Rollin Scroggins and Jim Scroggins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, The Late Charlie B. Cook. Her daughter, Vera Mae Cook. Her sons, Charles Cook, Jr. and James Wayne Cook. Her grandchildren Richard Earl Dancer, Jr., Tevin Terelle Cook, and great grandsons James Kendrick Taylor, Jr. and Keaton Lebron Jones.
She is survived by her children: Mammie Sue (Gerald) Brooks (Compton, CA), Vergie Lee (Richard) Williams (Ashdown, AR), Janice Ann Dancer (Texarkana, TX), Leon Cook (Ashdown, AR), Nancy Cook (Ashdown, AR), Nan Patton (Ashdown, AR), Essie Mae Cook (Ashdown, AR), Bobby Ray Cook (Ashdown, AR), Margaret (James) Scroggins (Ashdown, AR), Barbara Radford (Ashdown, AR), Brenda Sullivan (Ashdown, AR), Sharon Cook (Ashdown, AR), Sandra Campbell (Mineral Springs, AR) and Kenny Dewayne Cook (Ashdown, AR). Sisters: Francis Scroggins (Nashville, AR), Mary Harris (Hope, AR) and Shirley Morris (Texarkana AR), two sisters-in-law: Sue Scroggins and Joan (Brown) of Nashville AR. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by eight siblings: Oliver “Duncan” Scroggins, James “Jack” Scroggins, Leo Scroggins, Harold “Hal” Scroggins, Willie Scroggins, Warnie B. Edward, Caskell Scroggins, Pearlie Mae Dixon and Eloise Harris.
