What is the difference between a box and a casket for burial services?
The box is what the casket is placed in. All cemeteries are different. Some require a minimum of a wood box and some require a minimum of a concrete box. Jones Stuart Mortuary must talk directly with the cemetery point of contact.
What tasks do the office assistants assist with?
Insurance papers Burial permits (Jones-Stuart obtains the permit, not the customer) Death Certificates Funeral Excuses (for places of employment) Setting appointments for the funeral directors Filing information with the newspaper (Texarkana Gazette) and other additional newspapers per the client's request. **Please note - if you choose another newspaper besides Texarkana Gazette, additional charges may be incurred at the client's expense.**
