Harris. He was married to his loving wife, Linda Marie Wiggins- Harris for 28 years. and to this union one child was born Alexandria Reaonna Harris. Mr. Harris attend school in the Arkansas School District. He was involved in sports during his high school years. During his later years he joined Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, Nash, Texas, where he attended his family. He was employed with Compass Group, Texarkana, Ark. Donnie was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan and loved playing dominos with his family. He loved the old Wiggins home place so he could enjoy riding on the side by side, and playing with his dog, Wish Bone. He loved talking on the phone with his best friend and brother- in- law Cornell Griffin. He always shuck and jive with his sister- in- law, Betty Jean Wiggins as well as the barbeque of the family gatherings and listening to the blues. He quietly departed his life on October 13, 2024, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, his Sisters, Bettye Jo Myles, Jewerline Henderson, Alma Joyce Harris- Griffin and brother, James Lewis Harris. Haskins Jr. Mrs. Haskins was born January 5, 1925, to Joe Lee Micheal Sr, and Ida B. Micheal in Crockett, Texas. Mrs. Haskins was a retired educator who worked for 42 years. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Las Amigas Club and the Debonaire- Pandora Club. He departed this life on Oct. 4, 2024, after an outpouring of love and support for weeks from family and friends. Ramon (Luv) attended schools in Texarkana Arkansas, and was a member of the AHS class of 89. He loved hanging out with his friends, going to new places, and cooking. He was known for his Luv Burger. Mon also loved baseball and football and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys Fan. Mon was preceded in death by one daughter, Jacquala M. Fields, his mother, Retia Fields, brother, Stacy Trotter, grandmothers, Maggie Graham and Clara Harris, grandfathers, William Fields and Ardie Harris, one uncle, Ralph Lewis, Aunts, Sheila Harris and Sharon Burris, and stepmothers, Mary Fields and Donna Lindon. She was united in marriage to Charles Finn on April 14, 1989. She was a graduate of Arkansas Senior High School, class of 1979. She was a former employee of Northtown Car Wash for several years before beginning work as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Alice worked at several nursing homes including Medicalodge Nursing Home, before working for the Arkansas Department of Health as an in-home healthcare nurse’s aide.
Alice gave her life to the Lord in her twenties as a member of The Church of the Living God, Temple # 4, where she became a licensed missionary. In her thirties, she joined Harvest Church TXK, where she later became a licensed minister. In recent years, she attended Crossway Church of Texarkana. Alice was a passionate believer in Jesus Christ. She had a heart for giving to those in need. She was devoted to her family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her father, Henry Hawkins, Jr, stepfather Clyde O’Guin, Sr., sister Betty-Faye Hawkins, and brother Willie Hawkins. Broad Street Texarkana, Arkansas Robert Charles Stuart, a beloved father, went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2024. Robert was born on July 29th, 1958 to Jim Stuart and Emma Stuart (Wyatt) in Hope, Arkansas. He was the tenth child amongst twelve siblings. He was affectionately known as “RC”. He gave his life to Christ at an early age when he was baptized at Common Hill Baptist Church.
He attended Spring Hill High School in Spring Hill, Arkansas where he later graduated Class of 1976. After graduating from high school, he attended Red River Technical School obtaining certifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Shortly, thereafter at the age of 19, he relocated to Los Angeles, California. Upon his arrival, he accepted an employment opportunity in the field of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration as a technician at Huges Aircraft. He enjoyed 36 years of employment with Hughes/Boeing before he retired in 2013. Additionally, at the age of 23, Robert expressed an interest in law enforcement where he served as Deputy Sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department for a total of 32 years. In December of 2007, Robert received his general contractors license from the State of California Contractors Board. Shortly thereafter, he eagerly pursued entrepreneurship and established R.S. Construction Company. Additionally, he obtained his commercial trucking license and established employment with C.R. England Transportation located in Colton, California. He remained employed with the company for nearly 2 years. Robert eventually fully retired in 2014 and relocated to Texarkana, Arkansas. He married Theresa Tonette Givens in 1982. From their union came Shontae Marie Thompson, Robinette Capri Stuart, and Melissa Michelle Stuart. In 1994, he remarried entering into a union with Donna Kay Maxfield. From their union came Ephraim De’Shun Maxwell. Throughout the years, Robert enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, traveling, and most of all spending time with family and friends, cooking some good ol’ fashion barbecue. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Emma, his sister Betty Jean Stuart, his brothers Crit Stuart, Thomas Stuart, and James Stuart. He is survived by his four children, Shontae Thompson, Robinette Stuart, Melissa Stuart and Ephraim Stuart; six grandchildren, Asia Turner, William Turner III, Tresean Osgood, Cy’Nia Maxwell, London Ray, and Skylar Stuart-Johnson; his brothers Edward Stuart (Dorothy), Willie Stuart, Manuel Stuart (Trenace), George Stuart; sisters Emma Jean Duncan, Lorine Edwards, and Juanita Henson; sister-in-law Virginia Stuart, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kings Hwy Wake Village, Texas Kenneth was born September 16, 1958 to Leon and Earlene Noiel in Jefferson, Texas. Kenneth accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Luke Baptist Church. Later in life he attended Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Kenneth belonged to the Liberty Eylau High School Class of 1976. His professional career spanned 20 years at JCM Industries where he retired in March 2021. Kenneth enjoyed being with family, singing, karate and joke telling. Kenneth was a die-hard Cowboy Fan.
Kenneth was preceded in death by the following family members: father, Leon Noiel, brothers, Calvin Lee Noiel, and Michael Leon Noiel. Kenneth will be missed by his mother, Earlene Noiel; brother, Rev. Jared E. Noiel; sister- in- law, Mona Noiel; sons, Kenneth Ray Noiel Jr., Montague (Vince) Fezell; daughter, Zanicka( Nita) Fezell, mother of his son, Gail Fezell Noiel; niece, Crystal Noiel; nephew, Jared Noiel II and a host of family and friends. Walker & the late Jerry Walker, Sr. on July 27, 1948 in Texarkana. She graduated from Booker T. Washington Senior High School in Texarkana, Arkansas - class of 1966.
Arcenia joined the Church of the Living God (CWFF) Temple #4 at an early age. She was on the T4 Finance Team where she served as the Financial Secretary. She previously served as an Usher on the T4 Usher Board; sang with T4 Gospel Choir, Golden Voices, and Radio Choir; volunteered on the T4 Hospitality Committee; and was a former member of the T4 Women’s Ministry. She was a very FAITHFUL Member of T4. She attended Morning Worship Service every Sunday and Bible Study every Wednesday night until her health began to decline, then she would watch services via Livestream. It gave Mother Betiku great joy to provide transportation to several church goers who were family and long-time friends that lived nearby. She worked at State First National Bank for over 10 years; Miller County Detention Center for five years; The Annex for two years; and she retired from the Miller County Jail after working there for a number of years. Mother Arcenia Betiku loved her family and friends. Some of her favorite pastimes were going to her church, hanging out at the Sandflat-Glendale Neighborhood Center, and singing & dancing with her daughters; grand children; and nieces. Her famous word was “Smooches!” Arcenia was preceded in death by her mother, Eliza J. Walker; her father Jerry Walker, Sr.; her brothers Jerry Walker, Jr. and Don T. Watson; her sister Betty J. DeFrance; grandparents, Elder Joseph & Annie J. Watson. Arcenia’s wish was to be cremated - her ashes will be placed in an Hummingbird Urn and also shared with her family members & closest friends. James united with St. Rest Baptist Church at an early and went on to join Mt. Grove Baptist Church in his adult life. James was an active and faithful member. In the lateral days, his health may had kept him from attending services in person but it did not stop him from continuing to always give God the praise. James had a witty sense of humor, always joking about something. He was an avid bowler, fisherman, a fan of the Denver Broncos, and up to recently, also, a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. James is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Lonnie L. Davis, and Alberta, his first wife and the mother of his four wonderful children. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Edna; five children: James Davis, III and Solomon Davis (both of Arlington, TX), Dawndra Davis and LaDamiem Davis (both of Texarkana), and Ednalyn Baliza of the Philipines; six grandchildren: Na’Kya, Limaje, Daniyah, Kalani, Ja'Kyre, & Princess; two brothers: Steven Brown (Beverly), Tom, OK; Willie Wilder, Ashdown, AR; four sisters: Earline Davis, Mattlene Miller, both of Texarkana, AR; April Thurston (Curtis), Texarkana, TX; and Angela Blakeney (Maurice), Wylie, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Later in life, he became a member of Church of the Living God, where he faithfully attended until his health prevented him from doing so. He graduated from Arkansas High School in 1979 and attended Texarkana College, where he earned an associate degree in Electronics. William worked at Red River Army Depot for over 38 years before retiring in 2018. His kindness and generosity had no limit. He treated strangers with the same love and respect that he had for his family, friends, and church. His pride and joy were his son, William Jr. Nothing brought him more happiness than supporting his son’s dream of playing professional baseball and starting a family of his own. He was preceded in death by his mother Katie Lewis Crittenden and his father William Bradford.
