Arbie Jean Irving was born on August 12, 1935 in Longview, TX to the late Jeffrey and Nancy Halton. At the age of 18, she joined hands in Holy Matrimony with Christopher Irving for 20 years until his untimely death in 1972. A loving, devoted Mom and lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Having worked at Lone Star for many years, the Lord allowed her to work an additional 35 years with the International Paper Mill, where she retired in December 2001. Surrounded by her loving family at her bedside, Mom departed this life on August 13, 2023, after an extended illness.
Our mother is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughters Jacqueline Irving and LouBerta “Bert” Roberts, grandsons, Jerald Irving, Micah Sanders, and her only sister, Opal Mack."
She leaves to mourn her 7 children:
