Champ, you will truly be missed we will always remember your infectious smile that would light up a room. I'm so glad to have the opportunity of meeting you due to my best friend Terrie Ingram. You are such a great person you even took the time to teach my young son Marquis a couple of boxing tricks and routines, may you rest in peace until we meet again.
God bless your wife and your family.

My husband & I had the opportunity to meet Champ & his wife for the first time a couple of years here in Dallas TX by way of his beloved sister Terrie Burton Ingram (our good friend & sister). While enjoying a game of spades, we couldn’t help but notice his gentle & laid back demeanor. Who knew that would be the first & last time that we would see him. May our Heavenly Father grant the family & friends supernatural strength & the Peace that surpasses all understanding that will guard your hearts & minds through out Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, in his matchless & holy name🙏🏽🙏🏽

My condolences to the family, I pray you find comfort in Christ JESUS as you all walk through this journey of bereavement, only Christ has the power to heal in the deepest place of your heart. I had the opportunity to meet Champ thru my friend Terri, Champ was a respectful, kind, funny, gentleman, and a man of God who didn't mind acknowledging the Lord. I'm thankful for the many family & friend interaction. He will be truly missed. May the Lord bless. 🙏🙏

Carl "Champ" Pierce. This was a true tragedy for him, his family and anyone whoever had the privilege of knowing him. He was a great guy and kind guy. Humble to a fault, even though he had much to be proud of and brag about in his accomplishments. Since April of 2020, I had only seen him in passing. In April, though, he and Reverend Hill, spent the better part of a couple of days in my backyard repairing a cable line serving my neighborhood. One did most of the working and the other did most of the talking (I will allow the reader to figure out which is which). This is just to say that "Champ" will be missed by many. He truly earned the name and wore it well.
