I am heartbroken to learn of cousin Delphynne's passing. I hope you will feel some comfort knowing that so many of us are lifting your family up in prayer during this difficult time. Cousin Delphynne leaves behind a beautiful legacy and so many family and friends who were blessed to know her and feel her love.

A lady in every sence of the word. It was truly a blessing having Sis. Davis serve a cherished member of TCBHA, Tex/Ar.
As Emeritus Chairperson, Paula Austin,
Her passing is void in TEXARKANA!

A dedicated educator and a talented wordsmith, Delphynne Jones Davis was a consummate professional and the embodiment of all that was good. She was educated, tall and elegant, calm with a resolute strength and demeanor that ensured that any job or project would not only be done on time, but would exceed all expectations and then some. I worked with Mrs. Davis for many years at Charles Drew Middle School. She loved her family, the students and the Drew Family. I am heartbroken and send my condolences to Al and her family.

Dearest Family of Mrs. Del Davis:

I pray that you remain strong as you continue to reflect on her life.

Mrs. Davis and my mother were colleagues and friends for many years. Whenever my mom had car trouble, Mrs. Davis would pick my mom up for work and take her to the car dealership after work. Every time I visited my mother at work, I'd ask if I could visit Mrs. Davis. Seeing and talking to Mrs. Davis was a joy. She was a true Southern Belle: soft-spoken and kind.

So many people are blessed to have crossed paths with Mrs. Davis. May she rest peacefully.
