James Arthur Parks was born October 9, 1951 in Mandeville, Arkansas to the late Lillie Mae and Willie Parks, Sr. He was a graduate of Booker Washington High School. Mr. Parks was skilled brick layer and a baker for Albertsons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Parks and his brother, Christopher Parks. He leaves to cherish his memories: Six Brothers: Willie (Helen) Parks, Jr., Jackie Parks, Jewel Parks, Leonard Parks, Derrell (Cynthia) Parks. Five Sisters: Mary Sampson, Veola Parks (Jeff) Mains, June (Aaron) Fezell, Julia Tyson, Schlandra Waller and a host of nieces and nephews

I knew & loved James! So very sorry for your loss. He was a good man & a very good worker! He could lay bricks & rock with the best of them. His rock work was outstanding! He & Leonard worked for years for my ex, Scott Price. I will always remember him fondly. So sorry for your loss & my prayers are with you.
