Ruel Tremaine McFadden Givans was born in Texarkana, Texas on July 9, 1972 to Ruel McFadden, Jr. and Delores Givans. Ruel was educated in the City of Texarkana and matriculated in Texarkana Independent School District and also attended Hooks Public Schools. Ruel absolutely loved his family. He loved spending Lme with his siblings, his nieces, and nephews, as well as his friends, but the person he loved the most was his beautiful daughter Miajha, who he was so very proud of. To him, she was without question his greatest accomplishment. Ruel worked in the construction industry, finalizing employment as a concrete finisher for Phase One Construction. Ruel loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Everyone who was fortunate enough to be in his presence benefited from his charm, his intelligence, and his great humor. Ruel leaves to cherish his memory, his only daughter, Miajha Givans (Texarkana, TX); 7 sisters, Felita Givans Ellis (Frisco, TX), Tonja Givans (Mesquite, TX), Reka Forte (Texarkana, TX), Lasondria Forte (Texarkana, TX), Dimetris McFadden (Texarkana, TX), Joyce McFadden (Texarkana, Arkansas), and Chandra McFadden (Texarkana, TX); 3 brothers, Gregory Givans, Sr. (Carolyn), Roderick Forte (Texarkana, TX), Willie McFadden (Texarkana, Arkansas); best friend, Dennis Vaughn; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to Betty Dixon and Kandice Thomas for their extraordinary care for Ruel in his final days with us.
