Mrs.. Yulay Berry was a wonderful person and friend. She was a mentor to many young individuals of Color (Black) going to work in the food industry (The Coffee Cup). It was Lee Davis the Owner but Mrs. Yulay as we affectionally called her was one of the head cooks as I was a Bus Boy. She instilled us good work ethics, how to do the job, when to not talk but most of all when and how to speak up for what's right. In those days, Blacks or Colored People wasn't suppose to have a voice, but that wasn't so with her. She knew as they did, they needed her skills and talents, knowing she wasn't getting paid properly, they listened. Because of her and many others, I am a much better person for being associated with as well as mentored by my Friend, Mrs. Yulay Berry.. May you find Rest in Heaven I'm sure you found little Peace on Earth. James Andrew "Skeet/Baby Brother" Keeton
